Federal Government Offers to Fund and Sink the ex-HMAS Canberra

Today, the Federal Government offered to fund and sink the ex-HMAS Canberra
as an artificial reef and wreck dive site in Victoria.
Dr Brendon Nelson, Minister for Defence, announced that the Federal Government is prepared to take Project Management responsibility for the ex HMAS Canberra project and make $7 million in funding available.
